Nothing like starting the year with good technological news, right? So let’s talk about products in the hardware segment, namely Nvidia graphics cards.
After several powerful devices launched by the Californian manufacturer, now the 4GB GeForce RTX 3050 graphics, the 6GB RTX 3050 Ti and the 12GB RTX 3060 appeared on a Lenovo listing.
2020 was a very positive year for Nvidia, which was eventually chosen by our readers as the best graphics chip manufacturer. In summary, the company launched the powerful GeForce RTX 3070, RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 graphics. Later, the RTX 3060 Ti card was also launched.
But the rumors show that more equipment is in the forge of the brand and that, soon, we may have fresh news.
And it is increasingly difficult to 'insure' new equipment until the day of its official presentation. Whether through leaks or revelations released 'unintentionally', nowadays the news quickly ceases to be before becoming official.
RTX 3050, RTX 3050 Ti and RTX 3060 appear on Lenovo's listing
Recently, a 4GB GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card, 6GB RTX 3050 Ti and Nvidia's RTX 3060 12GB graphics cards were discovered on a Lenovo listing. The list concerns one of the Lenovo computers in the Legion series, and it then includes these three cards not yet announced by Nvidia.
Thus, it is estimated that the manufacturer will be able to present these new printers at the beginning of 2021, to be part of the intermediate segment.
According to the website VideoCardz, the RTX 3060 should bring the GA106-400 chip, 3840 CUDA cores, 30 RT cores and 120 Tensor cores. It is estimated that the capacity of VRAM memory is 12GB of the GDDR6 type, surpassing the RTX 3080 that counts on 10GB.
In turn, the RTX 3050 Ti should have a lower capacity, with a GA106-300 chip, 3584 CUDA cores, 28 RT cores and 112 Tensor cores. The VRAM memory is aimed at having 6GB GDDR6.
The RTX 3050 is expected to be the most affordable model, so that any player can count on the power of an RTX in their equipment. This card should bring the GA107-300 chip, 2304 CUDA cores, 18 RT cores and 72 Tensor cores and 4 GB GDDR6 of VRAM memory. Also noteworthy for its low consumption, with TBP that can be then and only 90W.
In short, it is likely that by February there will be many more news announced by the hands of Nvidia. The manufacturer has already confirmed its event “GeForce RTX: Game On” that will take place on January 12th, where it will present the RTX 3080 Ti and maybe something else.
