More than 1,800 events and more than 3,000 hours of live content. These are the numbers for Eleven Sports in 2020. In a year of pandemic, the platform dedicated to the sports world saw audiences rise thanks to an uninterrupted program and a bet on diversification, as explained in a statement.

According to Eleven, there was a generalized growth in the various competitions, between 2019 and 2020: + 244% in the Bundesliga, + 166% in Formula 1 and + 92% in the NFL. The Champions League Final 8, El Clásico de LaLiga Santander and the Formula 1 Heineken Grande Prémio De Portugal 2020 were watched by more than 1.5 million viewers.

As far as eSports is concerned, Eleven claims to have broadcast more than 100 hours over the past year, adding more than one million views at events such as #JogamosEmCasaCUP, eRacing Series, F1 Virtual Grand Prix, The Digital Swiss 5 Series and the FIFA 21 tournament “Diogo Jota & Friends”.

The 2020 balance also points to a 9% growth in digital, with more than 1.5 million accesses. Of these, 50% came from the desktop, 46% from mobile devices and 4% from smart TVs, Apple TV and Chromecast. Eleven’s mobile application also takes over 100,000 downloads at Google Play, Apple and Huawei AppGallery stores.
