Microsoft’s Surface line opens the year 2021 with a new member. The company has just announced the January 15 launch of Surface Pro 7+ for Business.
It is a device that offers greater versatility, connectivity and a level of security to respond to more demanding challenges, particularly for business customers, private or public, and educational institutions.
The year 2020 brought one of the biggest accelerations of digital transformation in our lives. The move to a remote and hybrid productivity model was a turning point to redefine the future of how we work, collaborate and learn outside the confines of a physical space, be it an office or a classroom. We have seen an increase in confidence in technology to ensure the connectivity of organizations, productivity and business continuity.
In terms of mobility and sustainability, Surface Pro 7+ for Business sets a new standard: it is 23% lighter than the previous generation and is made of 99% natural fiber-based material. In addition, 64% of this material is recycled content. These updates reflect, according to the company, the continued commitment to reducing its ecological footprint.
For business or school environment
With the Surface Pro concept, Microsoft wanted to ensure the portability and convenience of a tablet and the power and productivity of a traditional laptop.
In the past seven years, Surface Pro has thus become known for its versatility, power and performance. Also for its touch screen, new features with the use of a pen and, in addition, for the long battery life. It is by far the Surface device most adopted by business and educational customers.
With the iconic form factor of Surface Pro, Microsoft introduced the option of LTE Advanced with Surface Pro 7, one of the features that allows people to stay connected at home if the Wi-Fi network is limited or if they are in a remote location. Added the latest 11th generation Intel Core processors, with 2.1 times faster performance and the option of up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
The battery has also been improved. It has a duration of up to 15 hours. In addition, the new model includes fast charging that allows you to charge 80% of the equipment in just one hour. Surface Pro 7+ therefore offers the versatility that people need to work wherever and whenever they want.
It comes with USB-A and USB-C ports and integrates front and rear cameras with Full HD 1080p video, along with Dolby Atmos speakers and Studio microphones.
