IFixit has the habit of doing teardowns, that is, dismantling new equipment and, after a particularly busy end of the year, posted a video with the main moments of the repairability tests of the last months of 2020. From the iPhone 12 models to the new Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles, it is possible to recall the company’s work at the end of last year, having unveiled the interior of several equipments.

SAPO TeK was also attentive to the work of iFixit. In November, we showed you the teardown of the iPhone 12 mini, which reached a score of 6 out of 10 on the iFixit repairability scale. The most expensive version of the smartphone, the iPhone Max, received the same score, with the most negative aspects going to the replacement of the rear glass cover, requiring a complete disassembly of the equipment in case it breaks.

Still regarding Apple equipment, the video also recalls the teardown on the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. As for computers from the apple company, iFixit also dismantled the M1 macbooks, presented by Apple in November.

IFixit was also not indifferent to the launch of the new PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles. The video also integrates part of the teardown with the PS5’s DualSense controller, one of the new console accessories.
