Earlier this month Qualcomm’s new flagship Snapdragon 888 processor was introduced. This chip promises excellent performance especially in the gaming segment and in the 5G field.
But now a recent test has put the Exynos 2100 processor to the test and the results have been compared to those of the Snapdragon 888. And, interestingly, the Samsung chip has achieved superior performance.
The new high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor was recently launched, with a focus on gaming and significant improvements in the 5G segment, Artificial Intelligence and photography and video.
However, the results of a Geekbench test between this new processor and the Exynos 2100 have now been compared.
Exynos 2100 achieves superior performance to the Snadragon 888
According to figures released by Qualcomm, on the Geekbench, a platform that measures the power of processors in smartphones, the Snapdragon 888 managed to obtain a score of 1,135 in the core test and 3,794 in the multi-core test.
But now tests carried out on a possible Galaxy S21 +, equipped with a Samsung Exynos 2100, have revealed that this processor achieves a superior result.
The figures were released by the Ice Universe leaker, on his Twitter account.

The test equipment appears as Samsung SM-G996B, which could then be the Galaxy S21 (SM-G99), in the Plus variant (6).
According to the image, the Samsung processor achieved a score of 1,089 in the test of a core and 3,963 in multi-core. And it is especially in the latter that values attract attention. It was common for Exynos to fall below Qualcomm's processors, but now it looks like that could change.
However, another test in the Geekbench of the supposed Xiaomi Mi 11 with Snapdragon 888, already shows more encouraging values, of 1,135 in single-core and 3,818 in multi-core.
However, it is still too early for concrete and definitive analyzes, so all the conditions are not met to give the cup to any processor.
Both Samsung and Qualcomm are yet to improve the performance of their components, and as soon as smartphones came out equipped with these SoC, more reliable conclusions can then be drawn.
