An information leak from Samsung’s own app shows that Galaxy Buds Pro are about to hit the market and bring several advanced features, including one similar to Apple’s ‘Space Audio’. The Galaxy Wearable application, which shows Samsung’s smart watches and headphones, shows that Buds Pro will have an equalizer with several predefined modes and the possibility to customize touch controls, as well as the ability to read notifications.

These headphones have a noise suppression feature, but add the ‘Ambient Sound’ option to the traditional On and Off, which should allow some of the ambient sound to pass through, 9to5Google.

Galaxy Buds Pro stand out for being able to actively detect when the user is speaking and react by lowering the volume of the content being played. For those with hearing problems, it will be possible to separately control the left and right handset. To be able to take advantage of the functionality similar to ‘Spatial Audio’ the user must be using a Samsung phone and version 11 of Android.

The new headphones are expected to hit the market in January, along with the Galaxy S21 smartphone, but reference prices are not yet known.
