If you are working on new services or innovative products in areas such as business software, artificial intelligence (AI) or robotics, there is a European online event that wants to help you have more visibility. Organized by the European Innovation Council (EIC), the conference that runs from 23 to 24 March allows participants to present their products to more than 20 investors.
With open applications until 17 January, the EIC Investor Day: Digitizing European Industry event also allows selected companies to have specific training, pitching, pre-scheduled meetings with European investors and the possibility of networking with innovators with similar ideas in an online event.
The event scheduled for March will feature panel discussions and four online pitching sessions. In addition to business software, AI or robotics, companies can also apply in the areas of the Internet of Things and cloud computing. Among the various investors who have already confirmed their presence are DN Capital, Prime Ventures and Ventech.
Recently, the EIC supported 38 startups and “promising” companies for 176 million euros. Without the presence of Portuguese companies on the list, the innovations include, for example, an “innovative robotic classification technology” that reduces hazardous waste and the first indoor plant light that can be controlled, reducing energy costs.
