Under the name “See How We Feel”, Canon brought together the best photographs taken by photographers who are part of its Ambassador Program, with the aim of telling the story and showing the emotional impact of the year 2020 in images. The rules were simple: each photographer had to share a single image that represented how they saw and felt this “year of ignorance and uncertainty”, says the brand in a statement.
According to Canon, this “year in pictures” not only documents what we saw, but also highlights the roller coaster of emotions experienced around the world throughout this turbulent period. In this sense, the images of 19 photographers, world renowned in this collection, were presented. Among them is Clement Kiraau, specialist in advertising and wildlife; Guia Besana, portrait photographer based in Paris; and Muhammed Muheisen, a photojournalist who won the Pulitzer Prize twice.

“When words are missing, there is no better way to express our emotions than through the power of images. The fantastic group of Canon Ambassadors perfectly captured the ups and downs that we experienced collectively during 2020 through this selection of powerful images ”, highlights Susie Donaldson, European brand director of marketing.
