Analysis says AMD's Zen 3 is 89% higher than the first generation

A recent analysis considers that AMD is definitely on the rise, in the sense that the results obtained by the new Zen 3 architecture have been very good, both for the company itself and for its customers.

According to the data, the current Zen 3 architecture manages to perform 89% higher compared to its first generation.

The analysis was made by the German website Golem.de and compares AMD's Zen, Zen +, Zen 2 and Zen 3 architectures. For this, the respective Ryzen 7 1800X, Ryzen 7 2700X, Ryzen 7 3800X and Ryzen 7 5800X processors are used.

According to the details, AMD CPUs show an improvement of about 20% from generation to generation.

However, when comparing the Ryzen 7 5800X, with Zen 3 architecture, to the Ryzen 1800X, with Zen architecture, at the level of overall performance in apps, the 5800 X is 89% higher. In the gaming segment, this processor achieves a performance 84% higher than the CPU with first generation Zen architecture.

So if you are thinking of purchasing a new computer, perhaps equipment equipped with an AMD processor is now a good bet.
