Most Portuguese with an account created on at least one social network remember seeing advertising on these platforms. The study “The Portuguese and the Social Networks” by Marktest reveals that 70.4% of users of applications like Facebook or Instagram have the memory of crossing with commercial content from brands.

The same analysis indicates that recall levels are higher among women, residents of the North Coast and people from higher social classes. In an approach by age groups, it appears that advertising recall is lower among young people aged 15 to 24 (64.1%) and higher among users of social networks from 25 to 34 years old (73.5%) .

According to Marktest, Continente is the brand most mentioned by the Portuguese respondents who guarantee to remember to see advertising on the platforms they use. Vodafone is the second most cited, ahead of Nike, Worten and Adidas.
